Microtronica Storage

Microtronica have been active in promoting the "Build Your Own Server" concept to the System Integrator customer base. Taking server building blocks from our world class franchise line up like Intel, Supermicro and Tyan and matching them with CPU’s, Memory and Hard Disk Drives.

We are now seeing some of our suppliers introducing products that move them towards the Storage market place, most of these are based on tried and tested Server technology with added specialist software to meet the needs of the Storage market place.

We have taken on a Storage Specialist to look at this market place and our product line up to investigate what advantages we could bring to existing and new customers in and around this market sector.

We have product offerings from the Intel storage product range from the entry level NAS device, the Intel SS4000-E (a 4 SATA Drive SOHO solution) through to the Grid storage products like the Intel SSR212MA (a 12 SATA drive based solution both with dedicated storage focused operating systems.)

We are looking to sign up new lines to help us complete our range of Storage products.

We would like to continue to educate the customer base on Storage Products.
